The primary purpose of professional learning is to help educators develop the insights, knowledge, and skills they need to become more effective classroom and school leaders.

Ultimately, the students must benefit from the professional learning of educators. The #1 question we must continue to ask is: How will this professional learning impact student achievement? If we struggle to answer this question, such an acitivty is better off not being approved. Our mission is to directly relate professional learning to impacting student achievement.

MyProfessionalLearningCenter is the Cook County site where all certified staff can view and manage their professional learning records including certifications, register for courses and workshops and apply for PLU credits. The link below will take you to the site.
